Yaku Amazon Lodge is genuinely small and intimate, with three private, beautiful bungalows and personalized service. Their spacious bungalows accommodate singles, couples, and groups. Each of these has their own personal deck with stunning views of Corrientes Lake, a Blackwater oxbow lake.
There are isolated and authentic villages around the lodge, and they collaborate with the local village of Ayacucho to preserve and protect the environment in the area to maintain a pristine forest and lakes.
There will be many unique experiences from swimming in the Blackwater of the Amazon; fishing for piranha and eating your catch; learning about the flora and fauna of the jungle; using a hydrophone to listen to the dolphins communicate; and much more.
