Elangata Olerai is a luxury tented camp, a striking combination of contemporary style and comfort set in the heart of nature in the Masai Mara National Reserve, which is home to over 4 million animals and birds, making it one of the largest and most important wildlife sanctuaries not only in Africa but worldwide.
Every care has been taken in the design and construction of Elangata Olerai Luxury Tented Camp to ensure that the highest standards of sustainability and environmental sensitivity are applied. The camp has 20 luxurious tents. Five tents have 2 doubles beds each, crafted in African wood to fit with the surroundings. Five other tents are all rend-ville shaped with double 6X6 honeymooner Swahili beds. Each tent has a spacious en-suite bathroom with showers, a private veranda which is ideal for relaxing and absorbing the awesome sounds of the Mara.
All tents have been placed far from each other so that guests can enjoy their stay and guaranteed complete privacy on their own verandah with sun chairs.
“Enashipai” is a Masai word for happiness! The dining tent has a very spacious room that accommodates everybody in the camp comfortably. Fitted with all dining facilities and equipments, guests can enjoy the nicely cooked meals while they watch the wildlife through the open windows. The Lounge is a well placed beautiful African house with a viewing and photography space made 20 feet above the ground and perfect for game watching or just relaxing. Beneath the Lounge is a well furnished bar where guests can enjoy afternoon and evening refreshments. They offer a variety of beers,wines,spirits and juices to soothe and quench your thirst after hot and sunny game drives or other activities in the bush.
Elangata Olerai Luxury Tented Camp also offer a variety of adventure activities such as walking safaris with the Maasais, balloon safaris as well as day and night game drives.
