The Grand Exotic is a sensory delight. It transports you to a nostalgic era of glory days gone by. From the dome to the hand painted glass and art work adorning the walls at every turn, this is fast becoming The Jewel of the KZN North Coast. It is tranquil and a place to meet friends. Regretably the decor, ambiance and facilities do not cater for children, and we have a no under teen policy.
In The Grand Café, you can enjoy delicious single origin coffee, and tea served from silver tea pots and vintage porcelain, a fresh and simple all day menu, with cafe style savory light meals and sweet treats.
The Vintage shop is packed to the rafters with treasures collected from all over the world. There are beautiful carved doors, architectural features, French Country decor, lighting, gifts and a large collection of magnificent vintage silk saris.
The Skin and Nail Bar is located next to the Vintage shop, and is well worth a visit, offering pampering to sooth any soul!
Weddings at The Grand Exotic is an experience. It has been designed and created from a collection of ancient architectural features found and imported from around the world, including Indian Palace doors and columns. There are embossed and hand painted floors and walls, vintage décor, and stained glass windows. The attention to detail is everywhere, making it completely unique from any other venue available, and there is little need for extra decorating. However for those who would like to put their personal touch, the options are limitless.
