Since May 2007, new owners have taken over the hotel and converted into a classic New Port hotel. At Ystad Saltsjöbad , there are 140 rooms, of which 2 are suites and 10 mini suites The rooms have views in all the directions to provide a natural calming experience. Close the door after you, open the window and search for the perfect wave that rinses against your slow breathing. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with a marine theme.

The restaurants, banqueting and function facilities at Ystad Saltsjöbad are amongst the most attractive in Skåne and Österlen. The restaurant windows look out over Österlen and the Baltic. The Port Restaurant is a Swedish-American seafood restaurant, seating 200 with emphasis on seafood and vegetables. The banqueting suite is ideal for wedding parties. Both the restaurant and banqueting suite have spacious outdoor terraces that they use in summer for wedding receptions and functions.
Meetings, conferences and conference packages are their speciality. The modern conference rooms are wonderfully located near the sea and can choose from conference rooms near the sea for 10 or 300 people. All the conferences and conference packages include seaside strolls, lapping waves and a taster of Österlen and Skåne.
