1. MAHÉ
Mahé is the largest island in the Seychelles archipelago. Its terrain is defined by white-sand beaches such as those in the popular resort area of Beau Vallon, and granite peaks including the rainforested Morne Seychellois. The island is also home to Victoria, Seychelles' capital, (photo above) known for Creole architecture and a colourful covered market with wares like fish, fruit and clothing (photo below). 2. PRASLIN
Praslin is renowned for palm-fringed beaches, like Anse Georgette (photo above) and Anse Lazio, both bordered by large granite boulders. 3. LA DIGUE

La Digue’s diverse wildlife can be seen in the Veuve Nature Reserve and visit the coconut planation at L’Union Estate Farm (photo below).
4. DENIS PRIVATE ISLAND

HOW TO GET THERE: The best way to reach the Seychelles is by plane. Most connecting flights originate from Doha, Dubai or Nairobi and travel between the islands is typically done on small planes or helicopters.
WHEN TO GO: The best time to visit the Seychelles is between April and May or October and November, as these are the calmer periods between the two trade winds which hit the island each year.
VISAS: Seychelles is a visa-free country, however, a visitor's permit will be obtained upon arrival if you meet certain criteria.
CURRENCY: The Rupee is the official currency of Seychelles.
LANGUAGE: The national languages of Seychelles are Seychellois Creole, English and French. Seychellois Creole, a French-based creole language, is by far the most commonly spoken language in the archipelago and is spoken by about 95% of the population. Nevertheless, the country was a British colony for over a century and a half, and the legacy of British Seychelles made English remain the main language in government and business.
