Borravino Wine Tours was created by professionals born in Mendoza and Uruguay who were passionate about wine in their personal lives but working in other fields. One day not so long ago they decided to give up their day jobs and dedicate themselves to what they really love - wine and the culture surrounding it.
Their standards can be defined in just one statement: a mission to treat their customers in the same manner they would like to be treated when traveling abroad. This is why all the wineries they select must meet three indisputable criteria: their wines must be excellent; they have to be located in beautiful surroundings; and the winemakers and vineyard personnel must be great human beings (They only want to work with people as genuine, welcoming and enthusiastic as they are).
They want you to feel at home in a strange land. Their contact with you from the start will be close and direct. Their English is pretty good. And they will take care of all the details from finding restaurants that meet your dietary needs, to booking great accommodation on an overnight tour. No detail is too small.
They realize that what you learn about the history of Malbec, or how Tannat is produced in such and such a vineyard can quickly become hazy memories. But the taste of that wine in that little winery, the food you ate at that restaurant or the understanding of why South Americans are the way are, are sensations They hope you will never forget. And that is what they would like you to take back home with you: a little piece of this corner of the world.
