Cook up a storm in this progressive Vietnamese eatery.
Food in Vietnam has been stuck in a stiff “mold” with every chef in the country churning out the same food over and over, year after year. Hoa Tuc hired a highly qualified chef and spent a year testing new recipes, and assembling Vietnamese ingredients in a fresh new way. Staying clear from “fusion”, they established a menu to 'wow' the senses, and gave Saigon its first Contemporary Vietnamese Cuisine restaurant.
And, because eating the food isn't enough, they have fantastic Vietnamese cooking classes where all their secrets are divulged. What makes this so unique is that guests will go out into the local market together with the chef, and purchase fresh and exotic ingredients adding such great value to this experience. Classes are small, conducted in English, and graciously given with high levels of care, passion and precision.
Making great use of a historical location, Saigon’s old opium refinery, Hoa Tuc was built, designed and furnished locally with custom made wrought iron furniture, cast iron lamps and pergolas. It boasts a beautiful indoor seating area with original columns, a front terrace with a Paris Metro inspired roof as well as a secluded al fresco dining section to its side with creepers and greenery all around. Enough to make anyone forget the madness of the city while seating in the very heart of it.
