Remains a favorite Victoria Falls experience
The Boma opened with just 60 seats as an open-air “bush” restaurant to cater for guests at Lokuthula Lodges, and it has since grown into a “must do” Victoria Falls experience, able to accommodate 320 diners.
The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show, a must-do legendary experience, specializes in traditional African dining, drumming, and dancing.
The food is cooked and served in the style and quantity of a lavish feast, including irresistible desserts. On arrival, you are dressed in a “chitenge” (traditional sarong) and welcomed into a vibrant atmosphere in which the tantalizing aromas of local dishes and game meat on the braai (barbecue) fill the restaurant, partially open to the star-filled African sky.
Bookings are essential, and it is recommended that you are seated by 7.15pm to make the most of this fun-filled experience. If you’re staying at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Victoria Falls Safari Club or Victoria Falls Safari Suites, a courtesy shuttle is available to and from The Boma.
“They always seek to ensure that The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show delivers a superb multi-sensory evening."
