Opened by Denis and Teresa O’Connor in 1990, it is a firm favourite amongst locals and visitors alike, whether it be to simply enjoy the wonderful bounties of Irish cuisine or to celebrate that special occasion.

With the retirement of Denis and Teresa, 2022 marks an exciting new era for The Half Door. Newly taken over by their son, Conor and his partner Eileen, they will preserve the excellence, ethos and values that have made this superb restaurant what it is, while bringing their own distinctive flair and interpretation of contemporary Irish gastronomy.
