HANOI
Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is situated on the banks of the Red River and it is one of the most ancient capitals of the world. Explore the Old Quarter, the Heart of Hanoi for over 2 000 years. It is often called “36 Old Streets”, but there are more and some researchers believe that the number 36 originated in the 15th century when there might have been 36 guild locations, which were workshop areas, not streets.
