HAVANA
Havana is the capital, largest city and a major port of Cuba. Explore colourful Old Havana by foot or in a vintage convertible. Start your day at El Templete and stroll to the harbourside fort and maritime museum, Castillo de la Real Fuerza. After visiting the La Catedral de la Virgen María de la Concepción Inmaculada de La Habana, stop for a drink at Bodequita del medio. The Bacardi Building and El Capitolio are landmarks of Havana and not to be missed. Browse your way down the grand city boulevard, Paseo del Prado, and visit the La Catedral de la Virgen María de la Concepción Inmaculada de La Habana, an iconic symbol of Havana’s seagoing past.
At sunset, go for a stroll down Malecón Esplanade, dine at La Guarida, see a show at the Tropicana (see below) or learn to salsa.

The valley's tall, steep-sided limestone hills, known as mogotes, draw rock climbers.

The Arco de Triunfo commemorates Cuban independence. Ferries cross the bay to Castillo de Jagua, an 18th-century fortress.
